Since 2009, Pittsfield Township has leveraged an unprecedented $16 million in state/federal/county grant funds to implement the priorities outlined in the Master Plan.

In 2017, we received about $600,000 from the Michigan DNR for the acquisition of the park at Waters/Oak Valley. We also received $70,000 from the Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs (MCACA) for a bandshell at Morgan/Thomas  to establish a public gathering space for family-friendly entertainment and eco-education.

As always, we want to plan with YOU - please take a few minutes to help us answer these, and other, questions so we can continue working in partnership with you to improve the quality of life for all in our community.

We had scheduled a public forum for February 20th at 6:30 PM at Township Hall to get your input. We have canceled this event since there has been limited attendance at similar events. As such, we wanted to re-think our approach to public engagement to provide for an inclusive and broad-based process.

To that end, we are rolling out a new format for public engagement. It has two components: (1) Online Survey; and (2) Drop-In times for viewing proposed project information and giving your written comments. The two forums are complementary so if you can do just one of the two it will suffice but, of course, you are welcome to provide us feedback through both forums.

The online survey will be available February 15th - March 9th. Project information and flip charts on which to leave your written feedback will be available in the lobby of the Administration Hall & Senior Center as follows:
